Inspire someone today!

Most of us have read at least one book which has inspired us in some way, or changed how we view life. What if that book could go on to inspire a whole bunch of people, and fulfil its purpose in life?

You can make it happen - Read it, Spread it!

How it works

Print out the Read it, Spread it Cover Sheet and Readers List. Stick the cover sheet inside the front cover of your chosen book. Stick the Readers List inside the back cover.

Fill in the first row of the Readers List with your name, the date, and your postal address if you want the book to be posted back to you when its journey is over.

Next is the important bit - inspire someone! Find the first available bit of blank space at the front of the book and write a message to someone who you think your book will inspire. It can be as little as a few words, or an entire page on what the book means to you and why you are dedicating it to this person. Whatever you write, make it authentic.

Now you just have to give the book to your chosen person, and tell them to pass it on again when they've finished reading it.

Read it, Spread it Day - 02/05/09

Of course you are free to dedicate your inspirational books at any time, as soon as you've finished them, but there will also be a Read it, Spread it Day on 2nd May 2009, when the whole world is encouraged to spread their favourite inspirational books.

It's kind of like Mother's Day - you should show your mother you love her every single day, but for those of us who forget or 'don't have time', we have a special day to remind us to take action. So if you haven't got round to dedicating a book yet, put 02/05/09 in your diary so you can be a part of Read it, Spread it Day 2009.
