How to Spread it
Taking part in Read it, Spread it is easy and fun.
- First you need to choose a book which has inspired or moved you in some way (see the blog for recommended reads if you're struggling).
- Then print out the Read it, Spread it Cover Sheet and Readers List. Stick the cover sheet inside the front cover of your chosen book. Stick the Readers List inside the back cover.
- Fill in the first row of the Readers List with your name, the date, and your postal address if you want the book to be posted back to you when its journey is over.
- Next is the important bit - inspire someone! Find the first available bit of blank space at the front of the book and write a message to someone who you think your book will inspire. It can be as little as a few words, or an entire page on what the book means to you and why you are dedicating it to this person. Whatever you write, make it authentic.
- Now you just have to give the book to your chosen person, and tell them to pass it on again when they've finished reading it.
